Cheap Blythe Accessories - Hunt And Ye Shall Find

Today on eBay I really scored.

I found a Buy It Now auction for 45 pairs of Barbie shoes and boots for only 10.00.  Add the shipping and the total cost was 13.08.  Then I got an e-mail from the seller telling me she found 4 more pairs and threw them in as well.  That's about 27 cents a pair!!!  Some I know will fit Blythe and the ones that don't will fit my vintage reproduction Barbie and/or my two My Scene Barbies that I rescued.

Christmas morning as a kid wasn't this exciting...  :o)  Here's some of the loot.

Friends and Pets

Making Furniture For Blythe

I used THESE - TWO youtube videos by My Froggy Stuff (LOVE her videos - SO creative) as my inspiration to create my own love seat/sofa using what I already had around the house - 2 different kinds of sponges (platform, seat and arms), vintage fabric (to cover and for cushions), buttons (to decorate) and cardboard to neatly finish the back of the love seat. Tools - scissors, ruler, glue gun , sewing machine, poly fil and needle and thread. It's a bit boxy looking, but I don't think it's a bad first try at making furniture for Blythe dolls. And here's another video on how to make a sofa from things you have around the house.

CC (short for Cotton Candy - My CCE doll from Australia) relaxing with old friends and a new, little friend - Mini Lalaloopsy - Dollop Light 'n' Fluffy. Lalaloopsy brought cookies and her little pet along!

SHE'S HERE! My Girl is here...

She made it all the way here from Japan in only 3 days.

Of course I guess she should with shipping costing $31.00. I know...yikes. And, I had to sign for her (I was never notified about that!) which luckily worked out when normally I wouldn't even have seen or heard the mailman. It was just pure luck or I would have probably had to wait until Monday or Tuesday to go pick her up at the post office.

Apparently, one HAS to take pics of the delivery and unwrapping/unpacking of the doll especially if it's your first one. But, I doubt I'll ever get another Blythe since they aren't exactly cheap. But, I'm sure I'll want one... So anyway, I documented the event in pics (without asking the mailman to pose...*grin*), but I haven't even been to bed yet and it's past 2:00 in the afternoon so those pics will have to wait until another time.

UPDATE - Finally...

I found this cute, little doggie crate for her Chihuahua the other day at The Dollar Store that I thought would work great and it does - and only a $1.00!

I love them both...especially the fact that this Blythe comes with a little Chihuahua pet.
